Perfect Order of the Creation in Genesis

1:1-2:3
In the book of Genesis, the first book of the Bible, we have the account of the seven days of creation by God. It is very interesting to note the perfect order, structure, and harmony of this account with respect to each of those days.

| SEPARATION | FORMATION |
| First Day:
LIGHT Separated the light from the darkness. DAY/NIGHT The Light of the World (John 8:12)

Fourth day:
LIGHT The sun, moon, and stars. Four purposes: signs, seasons, days, years.

| Second Day:
WATER Separated the upper waters from the lower waters. HEAVEN/EARTH The Water of Life (John 7:37)

Fifth Day:
WATER Fish and fowl.

| Third Day:
RESURRECTION AND LIFE Separated the land from the seas. Plant life brought forth (SEED - TREE - FRUIT) Three plant types: grass, herb, tree. EARTH/SEAS The Resurrection and the Life (John 11:25) |
Sixth Day:
LIFE Cattle, creeping things, beasts. Man and woman.
